This immersive 2.5 hour course is designed for developing shooters with a solid foundation in the 4 rules of firearms safety for pistol & rifle, with an added emphasis on equipping the student with skills to run their own range and develop safety leadership. Every member of Bone Valley Industries will gain a strong understanding of the 4 firearms safety rules and the basics of firearms marksmanship, to include basic clearing functions of multiple firearms, so that the member will be equipped with the skills and the understanding to run a safe range and supervise any future guests under their responsibility.
- Pistol 101 – Students will learn firearm safety rules, pistol mechanics, loading/unloading procedures, the fundamentals of marksmanship, and how to develop safe habits on and off the range.
- Rifle 101 – This full-day course introduces new and novice shooters to the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship, safety, and operation using modern AR-15-style carbines.
- AR-15 Maintenance and Zeroing Course – Students will learn the theory behind mechanical and optic zeroing, including optic mounting principles, zeroing distances (50 and 100 yards), and how environmental factors affect point of impact. Instructors will walk students through confirmation drills, grouping analysis, and optics adjustments in real-time.
